Show or hide public rides and challenges

Modified on Thu, 18 Jun at 11:05 AM

The Ride Overview tab can display more than just rides from your own club. You can choose to show or hide Public Rides and Challenges based on your personal preference.

Some members prefer a clean overview with only their club's rides, while others like to discover public rides and challenges happening nearby. Cyql lets you decide what is shown.

How to change the visibility settings

  1. Open the More tab in the Cyql app.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Select Ride Overview.
  4. Under Visibility, you will find the following options:
    • Show public rides
    • Show challenges
  5. Enable or disable these options using the toggle switches.

What do these settings do?

show public rides

When enabled, public rides in your area will be displayed in the Ride Overview tab alongside your club rides.

When disabled, only rides that are relevant to your club and memberships will be shown.

show challenges

When enabled, active challenges will appear in the Ride Overview tab.

When disabled, challenges will be hidden from the overview.

Which setting should I choose?

There is no right or wrong choice.

  • Enable both options if you want to discover new rides and participate in challenges.
  • Disable one or both options if you prefer a cleaner overview focused on your own club activities.

You can change these settings at any time.
